Infection Control Policy


Clinical staff at Southside Endoscopy Centre are trained in the correct cleaning, disinfecting and maintenance of all medical equipment used, following the guidelines from the manufacturer, Gastroenterological Nursing College of Australia (GNCA), Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA), Centre for Health Related Infection Surveillance and Prevention (CHRISP), National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), Hand Hygiene Australia and the Australian Standards.

To aid in the protection of our patients and staff, we ask that and colds, flu or possible infections are reported to us prior to admission.
